SUBSTANCE
GHRH Peptide
Introducing CJC-1295, an advanced synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), meticulously crafted with 30 amino acids. This powerful peptide is designed to significantly boost the secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1, all while preserving the natural pulsatility of GH release.
CJC-1295 is often paired with Ipamorelin due to its enhanced specificity as a GHRH. Together, these peptides promote impressive increases in growth hormone levels without triggering appetite or elevating cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, or aldosterone levels, making it a well-tolerated option that complements Ipamorelin beautifully.
Target Gland: PituitaryBenefits of CJC-1295:CJC-1295 also promotes deep, restorative slow-wave sleep?crucial for optimal muscle recovery, memory consolidation, and overall vitality.
Exploring the Two Forms of CJC-1295:GHRH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus, triggering the pituitary gland to release GH in a pulsatile manner. However, GHRH has a very short half-life of just a few minutes. The first 29 amino acids of GHRH constitute its active component, available as Sermorelin. This peptide has been engineered to extend its half-life to 30 minutes, resulting in CJC-1295. Further enhancement has been achieved by incorporating a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), which binds to the blood protein albumin, extending its half-life to eight days, thus creating CJC-1295 + DAC. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can also be produced without DAC for those who prefer a more traditional GH spike each night.
The extended half-life of DAC means injections are required only once or twice a week. However, this prolonged presence in the bloodstream can lead to a continuous stimulus for pituitary GH release through the GHRH receptor, which may reduce the natural GH pulse amplitude and thereby lessen tissue stimulation.
Safety Considerations:When using long-acting CJC molecules, it?s recommended to take 'hormone holidays'?three-month breaks every three to six months?to allow your pituitary gland to 'recover.' During these breaks, Sermorelin is suggested as a suitable alternative to CJC-1295 + DAC.
These 'hormone holidays' may also help mitigate the potential for developing GH resistance, which could occur if antibodies form that bind to and deactivate GH or if there is a reduction in GH receptors in tissues (down-regulation). While these concerns are theoretical, no extensive long-term studies have yet been conducted to fully explore them.
Possible side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, flushing, temporary low blood pressure, nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
