Introducing CJC-1295, a powerful synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) comprising 30 amino acids. This remarkable peptide is celebrated for its ability to significantly enhance the secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1 while preserving the body's natural growth hormone release patterns.

When paired with Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 becomes even more effective as a GHRH, promoting similar increases in growth hormone levels without the drawbacks of stimulating appetite or raising cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, or aldosterone, which some other peptides do. With its excellent tolerability, CJC-1295 works synergistically with Ipamorelin for optimal results.

Target Gland: Pituitary

Key benefits of CJC-1295 include:

  • Enhanced secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1 without increasing prolactin levels
  • Improved body weight and height through better protein synthesis
  • Increased muscle mass development
  • Higher bone density
  • Boosted immune response
  • Enhanced cognitive function and memory retention
  • Increased collagen production
  • Greater fat loss
  • Improved cellular repair and regeneration
  • Moreover, CJC-1295 promotes deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, which is vital for muscle growth and memory consolidation.

There are two variants of CJC-1295:

GHRH, produced in the hypothalamus, releases growth hormone in a pulsatile manner from the pituitary but has a very short half-life of just a few minutes, leading to quick elimination from the body.

The active portion of GHRH, consisting of the first 29 amino acids, is available as a manufactured peptide known as Sermorelin. This was modified to extend its half-life to approximately 30 minutes, resulting in CJC-1295. Further modifications, including the addition of DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), allow it to bind with albumin, extending its half-life to about 8 days, referred to as CJC-1295 + DAC. A non-DAC form of CJC-1295 is available, which creates a more natural growth hormone spike each night.

This extended half-life means you only need one or two injections per week. The sustained levels of CJC-1295 can provide a continuous stimulus for growth hormone release from the pituitary via the GHRH receptor, although this may reduce the amplitude of GH pulses over time.

    Safety Considerations:

To optimize results, it's recommended to take 'hormone holidays' every three to six months while using long-acting CJC forms, allowing the pituitary to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin can be used as an alternative.

Taking 'hormone holidays' may also help mitigate the risk of developing GH resistance, which can occur due to the formation of antibodies that deactivate GH or a reduction in GH receptors in tissues (down-regulation). Although these concerns are theoretical, no long-term studies have conclusively confirmed them.

Possible side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, flushing (vasodilation), temporary low blood pressure, nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
