SUBSTANCE
GHRH Peptide
CJC-1295 is a powerful synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), expertly crafted from 30 amino acids. Studies reveal that this remarkable peptide significantly boosts the secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1 while maintaining the natural pulsatile release of GH, ensuring optimal hormonal balance.
This exceptional peptide is often paired with Ipamorelin, enhancing the specificity of GHRH action. Together, they effectively elevate growth hormone levels without the unwanted side effects such as increased appetite or elevated cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone that can accompany other peptides. Users frequently report excellent tolerability, making CJC-1295 an ideal companion for Ipamorelin.
Target Gland: Pituitary
- Elevates growth hormone and IGF-1 levels without increasing prolactin - Enhances body composition and lean muscle mass through improved protein synthesis - Supports muscle growth and development - Promotes increased bone density - Bolsters immune system function - Enhances cognitive function and memory retention - Stimulates collagen production for healthier skin - Aids in fat loss and metabolic efficiency - Facilitates cellular repair and regeneration
Benefits of CJC-1295:Moreover, CJC-1295 promotes deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, an essential phase for optimizing muscle growth, cognitive retention, and overall vitality.
GHRH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus and plays a crucial role in stimulating the pituitary gland to release GH in a rhythmic manner. However, due to its short half-life of just a few minutes, GHRH is rapidly cleared from the bloodstream, resulting in brief effects.
Variants of CJC-1295:The active segment of GHRH comprises the first 29 amino acids and is commercially known as Sermorelin. Sermorelin has been modified to extend its half-life to about 30 minutes, leading to the development of CJC-1295. Further enhancement with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) allows for prolonged action in the body, extending its half-life to approximately 8 days, known as CJC-1295 + DAC. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can also be found in a non-DAC form, mimicking the body?s natural GH spikes that occur nightly.
Thanks to the extended half-life provided by DAC, injections can be conveniently administered once or twice a week. However, this sustained presence in the bloodstream may lead to continuous stimulation of GH release via the GHRH receptor, which might not replicate natural physiological patterns, potentially reducing the amplitude of GH pulses and diminishing the stimulation of GH-responsive tissues.
To maintain balance, it is advisable to take "hormone holidays" every three to six months for a duration of three months. During these breaks, Sermorelin is recommended as a substitute for CJC-1295 + DAC.
Safety Guidelines:These 'hormone holidays' may also help mitigate the risk of developing GH resistance, which could arise from antibodies neutralizing GH or a decrease in GH receptor numbers (down-regulation). While these concerns are theoretical, extensive long-term studies are warranted for validation.
Possible side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, and itching), headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (including flushing and transient low blood pressure), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
