ACTIVE SUBSTANCE
GHRH Peptide
Introducing CJC-1295, a cutting-edge synthetic analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), meticulously crafted from 30 amino acids. This innovative peptide is renowned for its ability to enhance growth hormone and IGF-1 levels while preserving the natural rhythm of GH secretion, making it a sought-after choice for those looking to optimize their hormonal health.
Often combined with Ipamorelin, CJC-1295 leverages its superior specificity as a GHRH analogue. While Ipamorelin effectively stimulates growth hormone release, it does so without causing unwanted increases in appetite or elevated levels of cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone, which are common with other peptides in its category. CJC-1295 is exceptionally well-tolerated, making it an ideal companion to Ipamorelin.
Target Gland: Pituitary Key Benefits of CJC-1295:
- Boosts growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion without raising prolactin levels
- Supports increased body weight and length through enhanced protein synthesis
- Facilitates muscle growth
- Improves bone density
- Strengthens immune function
- Enhances cognitive function and memory
- Stimulates collagen production
- Promotes fat loss
- Encourages cellular repair and regeneration
CJC-1295 also enhances deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, which is vital for optimal muscle growth, memory retention, and overall rejuvenation.
Understanding CJC-1295:
GHRH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus, where its pulsatile release triggers GH release from the pituitary gland. However, GHRH has a brief half-life of only a few minutes, leading to its rapid clearance from the bloodstream.
The active segment of GHRH comprises the first 29 amino acids, available as the manufactured peptide Sermorelin. Sermorelin has been engineered to extend its half-life to approximately 30 minutes, while CJC-1295 further modifies the compound with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) to extend its half-life to around 8 days, allowing for less frequent injections. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can be formulated without DAC to mimic natural GH spikes during the night.
The prolonged half-life afforded by DAC means that injections are typically required only once or twice a week. Continuous blood levels provide a steady stimulus for GH release from the pituitary via the GHRH receptor, creating a unique response that may reduce the amplitude of GH pulses and potentially lessen GH tissue stimulation over time.
Safety Recommendations:
For individuals using long-acting CJC compounds, it is advisable to implement "hormone holidays" every three to six months, allowing the pituitary gland to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin can be used as an alternative to CJC-1295 + DAC.
These "hormone holidays" may also help prevent GH resistance, which can stem from the development of antibodies that deactivate GH or a decrease in GH receptors in tissues (down-regulation). While these concerns are theoretical and have not been substantiated by long-term studies, they are important considerations.
Potential side effects of CJC-1295 may include localized reactions at the injection site (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, flushing, warmth, transient low blood pressure, nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
