Duspatalin is expertly formulated for the effective management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and related disorders like chronic irritable colon, spastic constipation, mucous colitis, and spastic colitis. It offers rapid symptomatic relief from abdominal pain, cramps, nonspecific diarrhea, and bloating, while also targeting gastrointestinal spasms tied to conditions such as diverticulitis, gastritis, duodenitis, esophagitis, cholecystitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcers, gallbladder disorders, hiatus hernia, and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

Duspatalin stands out for its ability to alleviate symptoms commonly associated with irritable bowel syndrome, including abdominal cramps, gas, bloating, and irregular bowel movements. It also effectively addresses various conditions that involve spasms and pain in both the small and large intestines.

Each capsule of Duspatalin contains a potent 100 mg of Mebeverine, complemented by a blend of excipients. The capsule content features magnesium stearate, polyacrylate dispersion (30%), talc, hypromellose, and methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion (30%), along with glycerol triacetate. The capsule shell is crafted from gelatin and titanium dioxide (E171), while the printing ink includes shellac (E904), black iron oxide (E172), propylene glycol, concentrated ammonia solution, and potassium hydroxide.

For optimal results, adults should take 1 capsule of Duspatalin twice daily?once in the morning and once in the evening.

No specific dosage adjustments are necessary for elderly patients or those with renal or hepatic impairment, as studies have not indicated any particular risks in these demographics based on available post-marketing data.

If a dose is missed, simply continue with the next scheduled dose. Avoid taking extra capsules to compensate for any missed doses.

For best results, swallow the capsules whole with at least 100 mL of water. Do not chew, as the capsule coating is designed for sustained release.

Currently, no formal interaction studies have been conducted except with alcohol. However, research indicates that Duspatalin does not adversely interact with ethanol in both in vitro and in vivo settings.

There are no known incompatibilities associated with Duspatalin.

While side effects are rare, some patients have reported gastrointestinal disturbances, dizziness, headaches, insomnia, loss of appetite, and increased heart rate.

Duspatalin should not be used by individuals with hypersensitivity to Mebeverine hydrochloride or any of its excipients.
